Our Rajasthan tour rediscovers the majesty and regal splendor of this remarkable state, as we tour to see the frescoes of Mandawa, experience sunset, camel rides from Jaisalmer, visit the stunning walled city of Jodhpur and the romantic lake city of Udaipur. You will follow in the footsteps of Maharajas ( Kings) and even stay in some of their stately homes as you explore the heart of Rajasthan with Earthbound Expeditions.
Our representative will meet you at the International Airport in Delhi, India and then he will transfer you to the hotel.
The route from Delhi to Mandawa takes about 5 and a half hours.
After exploring the city of Mandawa, we head towards the town of Bikaner which is 192 km from Mandawa.
At Bikaner, we visit the Junagarh fort which was built between 1589 and 1593 by the Raja Rai Singh, who in the past was the ruler of Bikaner. This immaculate fort is filled with intricate designs and is drenched in red. We will visit the religious Karni Mata temple.
Traverse the ancient battlements under the desert skies. This city is famously revered as the “Golden City,” and its trademark is its yellow sandstone architecture and it lies in the heart of the Thar desert. Head to the Jaisalmer fort which has withstood the test of time and is considered by many as the most massive living fort in the world. The fort was constructed in 1156 by the Indian King RawalJaisal and legend dictates that the fort is on a site that legend says he chose on the advice of a wise local hermit. The yellow sandstone walls reflect the unique culture of Rajasthan. At evening, you can witness the magnificent dunes.
We head towards Jodhpur which is 283 km from Jaisalmer.
Our day starts by exploring the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan. The drive to Ranakpur, which takes about 2 hours and 46 minutes. We visit the gorgeous Mehrangarh or Mehran Fort, which was built around 1460 AD, and the fort is situated 125 meters above the city. Travelers are amazed by its thick walls, and the palace is home to intricate carvings and vast courtyards. We take a stroll in the Jaswant Tada museum and there you can see its architectural drama.
The road to Udaipur from Ranakpur is home to beautiful sceneries and views.
Today, you’ll explore this extravagant city of marbles which is mostly hailed for its lakes, mosques, gardens and the romantic backdrops. Bask in the glory of the City Palace of Udaipur as it sits atop a hill overlooking the serene Lake Pichola. The palace is a fusion of, and Mughal architectural style and history dictates that it was built about 400 years ago. We’ll head towards the summit of the Pearl hill to observe the memorial of the applauded Rajput warrior, MaharanaPratap. The premises speak about its historical paintings and briefs you about the Indian history. Pay a visit to the Jagdish temple, which is devoted to Lord Vishnu and marvel at its Indo-Aryan style of architecture. Intricate pillar designs, Decorated ceilings are the major attractions of this temple. There is an option of boating in the Lake Pichola plus a cultural show at Bagore-Ki-Haveli.
Head towards the magical city of Pushkar. It may take about 6 hours.
The fascinating city in the entire state of Rajasthan is the captivating city of Pushkar, which is mostly renowned for its sacred lake which as per religious beliefs, originated when Lord Brahma dropped a lotus flower. From there, head towards Jaipur.
Enjoy your delicious breakfast, and then we head towards the Amber Fort. Sit on the back of an elephant and enjoy the bumpy ride. Travel further to the interior of the Jaipur city and do some sightseeing of the prominent monuments. Our tour will display you the eccentric Hawa Mahal which was built in 1799 AD. Travelers are left spellbound by the fact that it comprises 953 walls, and it closely resembles the crown of Krishna. Admire the beauty of the Chandra Mahal and pay attention to its unique mixture of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture that is second to none. Feast your eyes on the Shri GobindDeo Temple and the City Palace Museum.
We head towards the magical city of Agra, and en route we’ll visit the FatehpurSikri.
At Agra, we’ll visit the Taj Mahal and drive to Delhi. At Delhi, the majestic Red Fort enthralls anyone who wishes to put their eyes on it.
After sightseeing, our representative will drop you off at the International Airport in Delhi.
