Overview

Lower Ganesh Himal Charity trek :

Join us in this Amazing charity trek to the north of Kathmandu towards Ganesh Himal which is named after the Elephant-headed God of fortune.
Lower Ganesh Himal trek is a cultural trek par excellence which is without a doubt one of the best treks in Nepal. Oddly, it is also among one of Nepal’s Himalaya’s least known treks and it is a moderate tourist’s destination.

A trek around Ganesh Himal is a step back in time where you will get a glimpse of the pristine Nepali villages and walk through remote Himalayan Panoramas. The diversity of the trek from the Hindu middle hills to the Tamang dwellers and the awesome mountain scenery of Ganesh, Manaslu Himal, and surrounding peaks combine to make this trek one of the most interesting, as well as one of the most beautiful treks in Nepal.

The 4400 meters Sing La is one of the high points and this is a classic camping adventure of a lifetime as you will also be supporting the Charity initiative.

Our Ganesh Himal charity trek itinerary combines adventure and kindness as we like to believe it because it is filled with anticipation and tasks, providing you with lasting memories of the Remote Himalayas while allowing you to contribute to a remote community within Nepal. We believe in creating awareness in these areas and this is a way for us to do so!

From your participation in this trek a sum of US $100 per person is donated to grassroots Foundations, non-profit foundation whose main objective is to Educate children, establish and implement long-lasting sustainable education systems within the community development that impact isolated areas of Darkha, Kimtang, Jharlang villages (eight villages and over 12,000 poor people ) which are located in the Northern part of Dhanding district of Nepal.

The money donated will go towards building school classrooms, hiring teachers, establishing libraries and building toilets.

Our carefully designed Ganesh Himal Charity Trek itinerary will allow you to visit all the above-mentioned villages and will let you participate in the projects which are currently supported by Mamata Foundation and Earthbound Expeditions.

A trek to this unique unmatched environment where relatively few trekkers visit this area yearly will make your experience more unique and unspoiled. You will be greatly rewarded and feel a great sense of compassion as you trek into these remote villages to experience the everyday life of these people, visit the schools, meet with locals and see just how isolated these areas are.
We believe that through our management these children will learn to be confident about what they can achieve.

Earthbound Expeditions is recommended by Lonely Planet, Trip Advisor, Newyork Times, The Guardian, and many other national and international newspapers and magazines for our good services. We provide a "Ganesh Himal Charity Trek in Nepal by Earthbound Expeditions" at best price, it costs just $1,297. Amazing Company
We were familiar with Earthbound Expeditions as the company that we used last time our of New Zealand uses Earthbound as their local company. We decided to book directly through Earthbound this time and must say we are extremely with their care and attention and professionalism. The owner Rajan is hands-on and personally does the arranging of tours himself. On-site he is also at the front for dealing with clients and does an amazing job. The tea houses we stayed in were the best and our guide and porters were top notch. We had some problems with health in the mountains and had to be evacuated and Earthbound saw to make it as easy and stress-free an event as possible. Follow up in Kathmandu during hospitalization and recovery at the Thamel Eco Resort was beyond expectation and we cannot recommend this comany enough or sing accolades loud enough. You will be taken care of from the time your feet hit Nepal until the time you return. Thank you, Rajan and staff, for making this adventure unforgettable in a very very good way!
