Anna and team, Everest Base Camp Trek, April 2009Dear Rajan,
We can't thank you enough for the adventure trek of a lifetime! We have spent > 40 years backpacking and traveling the globe together and feel pretty qualified to state that the excellent service, support, and value offered by Earthbound Expeditions far exceed, in our opinion, any other agency in the world. Our successful trek to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patar was perfect thanks in large part to the wonderful expertise of our amazing guide, Sudip. Our teahouse accommodations and hotel in Kathmandu were "ultra" cool, the itinerary was ideal, and we had the support every step of the way of the wonderful Earthbound staff from touchdown to take-off. Nepal is, of course, stunningly beautiful and we plan on returning to your land for future treks. Tibet, Bhutan, and beyond are also on our list with Earthbound Expeditions!

We would be happy to answer any questions if potential clients would like to contact us. We can be reached at jamesschaden@yahoo.com.

Warmest regards,
Jeanie and Jim Schaden

Hi Rajan

We have just arrived home today and have very fond memories of our amazing time in Nepal. Too short however and I am very keen to return to your beautiful country and explore culture places and people's some more. I am very impressed with the organisation of your operation and despite the difficult challenges you are faced with, power, resources, restrictions and I'm sure much more, I never had a problem.

Your guides were fantastic and especially Namaraj, who was ours. He did an expert job of creating a team dynamic, ensuring we were together as a well bonded group, safe and provided for, physically and culturally. He is a natural leader and earns the respect of all thirteen of us I believe. He had professional style all of his own and his talks at the end of the day were a feast of information, history, culture, philosophy and ecology. The porters Mr Ram, Kumar, Modan, and Bishnu, ( hope I spell those right) were amazing and I have a deep respect for the Nepalese people for their friendliness, strength, stamina and pride.

I will not hesitate to recommend your company to any who are keen venture to Nepal and I will post on any sites such as trip advisor that I can. Thank you and your hard working team to make this experience one of a life time that will never be forgotten.

Hi Rajan,

I came back from the trip to Nepal few days ago and would like to say a big thank you for the great time I could spend there.
Your staff was really very professional and let me say that especially Narendra proved his professionalism not only as an experienced guide but also a very good organizer and people manager.
His helpers Arjun Sigdel, Ganesh Gajurel, Anil Tamang, Kumar Phuyal and Babulal were also not only our porters and kept us company during the trek so everybody could walk at their own pace and still felt really safe and supported, but each evening they also served us dinner, and also entertain us which contributed to the great feeling I have about Nepal in general.
I can't thank enough to express how I feel.
I would strongly recommend your company and also these guys to anybody interested in trekking in Nepal.
I wish you success and all the best.Thank you and kind regards,

Regards
Lubica

Hi, Rajan & Tarek,
Thank you for a wonderful trek. We had a really nice experience with Earthbound Expeditions.
We really liked having a group of all women and especially older women.  We called out group "Super C's!" We were slow, but we all made it!!

I can't say enough about our guide, Resham, and our 4 Supporters.  They took wonderful care of us; just like sons!

I wanted to send you a couple of photos that I thought you might like to have.
Thank you for the below quote, below. It is true for life, not just Nepal!

"Happiness is managing your expectations."

Regards
Sandy from USA

Namaste Rajan !!!
Thanks for your e-mail, once again you proved your exquisite personal attention to us.

We had a long way back home to Barcelona, reaching our city as expected at 22:30 in the night. Only a problem with our luggage at Heathrow (London). Our flight connection was so short (1h 30') and our luggage could not be transfer to our flight to Barcelona on time. Any case, the very next day, we had our bags delivered at home. So all in all no problem with it.

What to say about our  Mustang trip? Almost impossible to put that in words. Amazing, incredible, unbelievable, funny and of course enlightening... Nepal has been a wonderful experience that we will keep in our hearts and minds forever.

Of course we will provide a good feedback about Earhtbound  Expeditions services at TripAdvisor for they were excellent.

Also, in a few days we will upload some pictures of our trekking. We will let you know.

Finally, we would like to mention the splendid job your boys did for us. Sudip, Gokul, Arjun, Krishna and Kharma made an absolutely excellent job and made our trekking experience a matter of joy. We had to think about nothing but enjoying every single minute of our trek as they take care of the rest. Wish you can give our most sincere regards to them. You can feel really proud of them.

Further, just know that we will encourage our friends and colleagues to get to know Nepal as your country is a must-see place in this world. The beauty of your mountains, valleys, rivers and landscapes is only comparable to the pureness of your hearts. And of course, we will spread the word about your company as your professionallity and excellence has been more than proved.

"Nepal once is not enough..." After our return is very easy to fully understand that sentence. Hopefully our lifes let us visit your country once again.

Biggest regards for you Rajan and your team, and thanks a lot for everything you did for us.

Montse and Xavi

PS: For sure we will check the information regarding Hands in Nepal and will consider to help on some way to your projects.

Subject: Nepal Trip
 Dear Badri and Rajan,
Our Nepal Trip was perfect from start to finish. Everything went smoothly from our arrival in Nepal to our departure on the final day. Thakur was a superb guide and really looked after our group through sickness and in health. Mitch was ill on the first day of the trek, having picked up a bug on his journey from the USA. Thakur adapted our programme to accommodate everyone’s needs. This meant that we were able to have lunch in a local home on the second day of our trek and he always tried to create opportunities for us to meet local people on our travels. Our group wanted to get to know the people and the culture of Nepal....not just clock up miles! Thakur and our two porters Arjan and Thakur were superb. Besides leading our walks, they made sure that our accommodation was good as well as the hygiene standards. We loved dahl bhaat and Thakur told us where and when it would be good. The Helembu Trail was the perfect trek for us as we didn’t waste time at airports and because it was fairly unspoilt and close to Kathmandu. Next time I think we could do higher elevation.
Apart from the trek, the tour of KTM and the cultural meal* at the end were fantastic and wonderful opening and closure to our trip. We all loved our morning in Bhatnapur and our visit to The Garden of Dreams and I would recommend that these be included wherever possible in your trips. The Thamel Eco Resort was very nice, clean and friendly with excellent breakfasts and tea/coffee.
We would all like to return to Nepal and would definitely have Earthbound as our first choice. When is the Adventure Travel Show in London this year? The girls and I want to go again and can see you there.
Regards,
Suzanne

Dear Rajan:

Thanks for a great trip in Nepal. We arrived safely in Thailand. I know we were very fortunate with our flights in and out of Lukla and great weather along the trek. Please give the shoes to Bibek as Jan had mentioned earlier. I will be reviewing the trip on Trip Advisor in the next couple of days and will keep you posted. Please convey our thanks to Sudip for doing an excellent job of guiding and being a companion on the trek.

Best Regards……Saleem

Dear Rajan,

Stacey and I are doing well, and we did indeed arrive back in Canada with good memories of our trip to Nepal.   I am sure all of us will forever remember the spectacular scenery that we saw during our Anapurna panorama trek, and the cultural sights we saw in Kathmandu.  Equally memorable was the way that Gutham our guide cared for us during our trek.   He, and our two porters, managed to make what could have been  an arduous trek for first-timers like us into a walk-in-the-park.  Our guide for the cultural sights in the city, Arjun, was very knowledgeable, and gave us detailed answers to all of our questions which was great.  Throughout our trip, Rajan, your calm handling of all our extra, and unexpected requests for a doctor, an ambulance and transport all over the city was outstanding and invaluable.  You anticipated our needs, make suggestions which made our stay and travels more enjoyable, and you were a pleasure to deal with.  We will certainly recommend your services to anybody considering a trip to Nepal.  Finally, we wish you luck in your mission to make a difference in Nepal through tourism.  If anyone can do it, you can...

Sincerely
Wayne Brunton and Stacey Price
