  • Day 01 : Arrival Kathmandu - 1400 m (4593 ft.)

    You will be welcomed and received on your arrival by our representative at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. Later on, you will be transferred to your hotel; check into hotel and take your relaxing time until we meet for the trip briefing at some point in the evening. You will be informed about the briefing time once you arrive to the hotel.

  • Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing and Nagarkot - 2175 m (7135 ft)

    After breakfast in the morning we go for the Kathmandu sightseeing tour. We are going to do the UNESCO CULTURAL HERITAGE TOUR today which includes:

    Swoyambhunath - The oldest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu Valley, a beautiful abode for lots of monkeys thus also known as Monkey Temple, is also a perfect vantage point to see Kathmandu valley.

    Pashupatinath- A holy pilgrimage for Hindus and Hindu Crematorium, watch as the Hindu dead bodies are cremated in the most unique way in the world; we come across men with ash rubbed body, matted locks and dreaded look which is typical look of a Hindu Holy Men known as Sadhus.

    Boudhanath- the biggest Buddhist temple in the world; a site for Tibetan Buddhism where we can visit monasteries, watch the Holy Monks busy in their chanting ritual going around the temple.

    Patan Durbar Square- A Medieval Royal Palace area which is also known as the city of fine arts, we can see the finest example of metal and stone carving back to 14th century and also the amazing Nepali Architecture.

    Later on, we will drive to Nagarkot for about 1.5 hrs and stay overnight there. Nagarkot is a beautiful hill station 32 Kilometers east of Kathmandu and famous for sunrise and Mountain View. We can enjoy the breathtaking view of Langtang range in the Himalaya and other magnificent mountains including Sisa Pangma, Dorje Lakpa, Gaurishankar and also a tiny glimpse of Mt. Everest on a very clear day. Sunrise from here is as fascinating as it can be. The cool weather there makes us wish for more days there but so sad, we are checking out from here tomorrow.

  • Day 03 : Nagarkot - Bhaktapur - Chitwan 400 m (1312 ft.)

    Early morning wake up for the sunrise. We will check out the hotel after breakfast and drive for about 40 minutes to Bhaktapur for a sightseeing tour of the world heritage town.
    After about 2 hours’ sightseeing of Bhaktapur, we start driving to Chitwan National Park. It takes us about 6 hours to reach this beautiful National Park to the down south of Nepal. Chitwan national park was once the hunting ground of British and Nepalese aristocrats. Today, the animals - elephant, rhinoceros, tiger, leopard and deer - are protected, not shot. The greatest thrill here is to scout for wildlife on the back of an elephant. This national park is enlisted in the UNESCO’s Natural Heritage Site.

  • Day 04 : Chitwan Exploration Day

    Full day in Chitwan National Park for exciting activities like: jungle walk, elephant riding, village visit, canoeing, visit to elephant breeding center, bird-watching etc. A nature guide will lead us through all the activities giving us more insights about the wildlife, flora and fauna in the national park. View of wild and aquatic life like rhinoceros, deer, bear, crocodile, and different birds can make our day there. In the evening we can enjoy the Tharu cultural show. Tharus are aboriginal people of the area who have their own language, culture and tradition.

  • Day 05 : Chitwan - Pokhara 900 m (2952 ft.)

    Today we are driving for 5 hours to go to Pokhara, a very famous and standing amid nature tourist destination in Nepal. As soon as we reach Pokhara, the atmosphere starts telling us about the beauty of the place. One of the most beautiful lake cities in the world, Pokhara, is also the city for the adventure sports in Nepal. It is also a famous sightseeing place with beautiful lakes and view of Himalayan range. The close-up view of the Annapurna range and Mt. Fishtail from here is more than fascinating. In the afternoon we explore the beauty of Pokhara by boating on Lake Fewa, visiting temple on a small island.

  • Day 06 : Pokhara Exploration Day

    We wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot, a beautiful hill in Pokhara famous for Sunrise, for 35 minutes. A real Closed-up look of the Annapurna and Fishtail, and the unparalleled Sunrise from there makes a perfect start of our day. After Sunrise, we come back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast we go for a nice boating trip on a row boat on a beautiful lake, Lake Fewa. Later we come down to visit Davis falls and cave and Tibetan Refugee Camp.

    P.S: We can choose to do some adventure activities like Paragliding, ultralight flight and Zip flyer as well with an extra cost. We can also hike to Naudanda Sarangkot or World Peace Stupa or Nirmal Pokhari at an extra rate of USD 17 per person - minimum 2 participants required.

  • Day 07 : Pokhara - Kathmandu

    We are driving back to Kathmandu today after our breakfast. It takes us about 7 hours to reach Kathmandu. We can fly back with an extra cost. Later in the evening, we go for farewell Nepali dinner with cultural show in Kathmandu and can have discussion about the trip experience.

  • Day 08 : Departure Day

    Today is our last day of the Taste of Nepal Tour so we will transfer you to airport for the departure to home.
