Itinerary for Taj Mahal and Everest Tour - India and Nepal highlights

DAY 01: DELHI , India (ARRIVAL)

Meeting and assistance on arrival at the International airport, our representatives welcome and escort and transfer to the hotel, whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative would hand over the documents and brief the tour programme to you. Overnight in Delhi 

DAY 02: DELHI – JAIPUR 260 KMS / 5 HRS

Visits the old and new Delhi. We visit the Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan, the Jama Masjid, the biggest mosque in the India, the Raj Ghat the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi; we will walk along the Chandni Chowk, the silver street of Delhi bustling with activity. In the visit of the New city we will see the India Gate an Arch of Commemorative victory; We will also go by the Presidential residence Rashtrapati Bhavan, the Parliament Sansad Bhavan and Government buildings of the secretary; Connaught place, commercial and managerial center and Drive to Jaipur the Pink city. Overnight in Jaipur

 DAY 03: JAIPUR – AGRA 235 KMS / 5.5 HRS

This morning proceed visit the Jantar Mantar or astronomical observatory. The Palace of the city, the previous real residence and now a museum that contains strange manuscripts, fine specimens of Rajput, paintings of Mughal and weapons. The impressive Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds.

 Continue drive for Agra visiting Fatehpur Sikri Enroute built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Overnight Agra.

 DAY 04: AGRA – DELHI

Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Drive back to Delhi . Check in - Overnight in Delhi

DAY 05: DELHI-DEP to Kathmandu, Nepal

Transfer to the airport for flight to Kathmandu : Reception and transfer to the hotel. Then you can go to visit the Durbar suqure, where there are multitude of temples and monuments, as the old Real Palace, guarded by the king monkey Hanuman, The Kumari Bahal or the virgin goddess Kumari´s house (Living goddess), the Kasthamandap (wood´s house) made with the trunk of a single tree.., explore around Thamel your own.

Day 06 : Early morning transfer to the airport for Everest Experience Mountain flight with the view of different mountains as well as close up view of the world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest.
After breakfast sightseeing of Kathmandu like Pashupati Nath temples (Hindu death body cremation centre) and the biggest Buddhist stupa at Boudhanath and Kathmandu Durbar square. After sightseeing, drive up to Nagarkot ( 7,200ft) - a beautiful hill station, which provides magnificent Mountain panorama, from Everest in the east to Annapurna in the west, eight of the world's tallest Mountain in a peaceful rural settings.
Day 07 Nagarkot to Kathmandu : Enjoy the breakfast in Nagarkot with sunrise and mountain and drive back via Changu Narayan and Bhaktapur village and terrace. It gives chance to understand Nepalese lifestyle and village culture. Evening join Nepali dinner and Cultural show, O/N KTM hotel.
Day 08 : Transfer to the airport for international departure to Delhi or other destinations

  Taj Mahal is closed on Friday

  Note: India visa you have to take at home before your arrival to India, Nepal visa can get upon arrival with 2 photos and USD 30 cash.

 

  In generic, Check in time at al hotels is 1400 hrs/check out time is 1200 hours. In-case of any change, we will inform you accordingly

 Our prices are based on current taxation structure. In-case of any revision in taxes or a sudden fluctuation in currency levels or change in Visa Fees or increase in fuel, we will amend our prices and shall intimate you accordingly

  Reporting time at the International airport for check-in formalities: 02 hours minimum prior to flight departure

  We would need complete passport details including date of births of the clients for booking flight /  train tickets.
