200 km west of Kathmandu is an unbelievably beautiful city of Pokhara, which is a six hours bus ride or twenty five minutes flight from Kathmandu, is the main gate way to go to the Ghorepani Poon hill trek. There is another one and half hours’ drive from Pokhara to Nayapul from where your trek of the life time starts. You walk on the rugged mountain trails and some where you meet some almost vehicle less mountain dirt road which passes through small but beautiful mountain river streams, green hills and overlooking the white Himalayas to add to the beauty of nature and to your excitement.   • Day 01 : Arrival Day - Kathmandu - 1400 m

    You will be welcomed and received on your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu by our staff member. You will then be transferred and checked into hotel. The trip briefing will take place some time in the evening. You will be informed about the briefing time on your arrival by our representative.

  • Day 02 : Kathmandu Exploration Day

    After breakfast we will go sightseeing of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu.
    This visitation includes:
    • Swayambhunath which is also known as the Monkey Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the Valley.
    • Bhaktapur is the medieval city which dates back to the 13th century and also the finest example of metal, wood and stone carving.
    We will eventually drive back to the hotel and stay night in Kathmandu.
    Today will be a full day sightseeing day.

  • Day 03 : Kathmadu - Pokhara 900 m - Tikhedhunga

    After Breakfast we will fly to Pokhara.

    We will Meet the crew at the airport and drive from Pokhara to Nayapul which is about 1.5 hours drive and we will eventually trek to Tikhedhunga on a nice dirt road alongside beautiful river stream. The beginning of the trek gives you some glimpses of the Himalayan peaks but rest of the day we will enjoy the beauty of green mountain surroundings and local villages.
    We will spend the night at an effortless Guest House (called the tea house) at 1527 meters.

    Approximate Trekking Duration - 5 Hrs

  • Day 04 : Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani 2810 m

    After a mouth watering mountain breakfast at the tea house we start the trek of the day. Probably the most difficult day of the trek in the sense the trail goes only higher on elevation. The first part of the trek is a steep upward walking for about 2 Hrs and then a gradual upward walk. The walk on the stone paved steps is a daring adventure early in the morning. The whole trail leads you through village and forest to Ghorepani and all the adventure that you dare through out the day will be rewarded when you reach Ghorepani with magnificently close up view of the Himalaya (given the weather is clear). We will stay the night at a Guest House at 2810 meters.

    Approximate Trekking Duration - 7 Hrs

  • Day 05 : Ghorepani - Poon Hill 3210 m - Tadapani 2700 m

    We will hike to Poon hill, the highlight of the trip, about 1.5 Hrs early in the morning to see a spectacular sunrise and the mountain views of 10 different peaks.
    We will trek back to Ghorepani for the breakfast. After enjoying the second mountain breakfast, we will trek to Tadapani, another great place to take a close up view of the Himalaya. It is a pleasant walk through a lush green forest.
    Eventually we will stay the night at a guest house at 2700 meters.

  • Day 06 : Tadapani - Ghandruk - Pokhara

    Enjoy a beautiful forest trek to an amazingly stunning Gurung village of Ghandruk and explore the ethnic village for a bit. Have your lunch there and later, trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara and stay over night in Pokhara.

    Approximate Duration - 8 Hrs

  • Day 07 : Pokhara - Kathmandu

    After breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu which is about 6 hours drive or we also have an option to fly for 25 minutes at an extra cost. The flight will cost you USD 105 per person with extra taxes etc.
    In the evening at 18:30 we will meet to go for a Nepali farewell dinner along with a cultural show.

  • Day 08 : Departure

    This is a goodbye. We hope to see you time and again.
