We at Earthbound Expeditions regularly running Nepal trips for
school and college students. We provided support for research
groups of Arizona University USA in 1997, 1998 & 1999. Since
2002 we are running trips for students from Universities of
Hong Kong. Here are two trip itinerary that we offered to the
student of City University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong University
of Hong Kong in May 2002 and June 2003. In May - June 2005,
we organized a 13 days tour, rafting and trek for students of
City U.

This exciting student adventure is designed to give travelers on a tight schedule a taste of Nepal's diverse pleasures in a short time. Drive to Pokhara and head east into the scenic foothills, where the majestic peaks of the Annapurnas, Dhaulagiri and Machhapurchre preside over traditional villages and traced hillsides. The relatively gentle trials (maximum elevation 9000-ft.) lead you back to Pokhara and fond farewell from your trekking crew. A drive to Trishuli River places you in the expert hands of our Rafting guide, who will lead you through one day of white water fun. A change of pace will find you high a top and an elephant in the Royal Chitwan National Park, as you use many rolls of film capturing the jungle rich of wild life. You also have free time to explore Kathmandu for bargain shopping and sightseeing-on your own. An outline itinerary Option I - Nepal student

Day 01: Arrival day, welcome at airport by garland, evening enjoy short sightseeing (Time permitting).
Day 02: Morning about 8:30 Am have
breakfast and leave for half day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.
We will take tour of the valley to see the key sites such as
the classic Newari (the original inhabitants of the Kathmandu
valley) architecture in the medieval city of Bhaktapur. The
Hindu temple complex at Pashupatinath (a UNESCO world heritage
site) and the biggest Buddhist stupa at Boudhanath and overnight
at hotel.
Day 03: After breakfast drive to Pokhara (6 hours drive) evening at hotel
Day 04: After break fast, drive one hour to Nayapul (1100m) and start trek then continue trek up to Tikhedhunga (1540m) along the trail enjoy the view of a typical Gurung village and landscape.
Day 05: Tikhedhunga to Gheorepani (2850m) After breakfast continue trek to Gheorepani (2850m) which is beautiful view point for long mountain range and sunrise including Dhulagiri one of the Eight thou-sand peaks in Nepal, Annapurna, Machhapuchere, Nilgiri, Tukche peak etc.
Day 06: Gheorepani (2850m) to Tadapani (2700m) A beautiful walk through pine forest proving mountain views lead you to Tadapani a special view point for Annapurna and Fishtail ranges.
Day 07: Tadapani (2700m) to Ghandrung (2060m) 3 hours walk through jungle and village. Ghandrung, a typical Gurung village (Gurung is the tribe of Nepali people) provides close up view of whole Annapurna range. We will visit a Government high school that day.
Day 08: After breakfast continue walk towards Birethanti (a beautiful village which provide excellent view of Annapurna, Fishtail and drive to Pokhara (1 hour drive) overnight at hotel.
Day 09: After breakfast drive to rafting starting point and continue rafting in Trishuli river one of the famous rafting river after finishing rafting Tented Camp in the river bank.
Day 10: Rafting for 3 hours then continue drive to Chitwan National Park and overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Full day Jungle activities (such as bird watching, Elephant back safari, jungle walk, canoeing, local people's village visit etc.
Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu (5 hours drive) afternoon, free and easy in Kathmandu for shopping .
Day 13: Morning about 8:30 Am have breakfast and leave for half day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley. We will take tour of the valley to see the key sites such as the Monkey Temple, Patan and Kathmandu Durbar Square and overnight at hotel. We can manage to visit one of the University in the afternoon. Evening join for Typical Nepali food and cultural dance show
Day 14: Airport Drive for final departure.
One group leader will get free of charge everything throughout the trip if the group size is over 15 paying pax.
An itinerary II - 11 days Nepal tour and trek
for Students and teachers
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu, receive at the airport and check into hotel rest day.
Day 02: 8:30 Am Break fast, After breakfasts go for sightseeing of Monkey temple, Kathmandu Durbarsquare, Pashupatinath and Bodhanath and stay at hotel.
Day 03: After breakfast drive about 3 hours to Rafting starting point, do rafting for 2 hours and stop for lunch in River bank and again continue rafting, evening sleep in Tented camp in Riverbank.
Day 04: After breakfast do the rafting for about 4 hours and after Lunch drive for Pokhara about 2.3 hours and stay overnight in Pokhara
Day 05: After breakfast drive up to Naudanda and then walk to Sarangkot, (3-4 hours) walk. Stay overnight in Sarangkot in a basic guesthouse. You have good view of the lake and mountains (weather permitted), Please pack for only one night stay in Sarangkot, light daypack or bag pack. Other heavy unnecessary luggage leave at hotel in Pokhara.
Day 06: Early morning see the sunrise and mountain view and walk down to Pokhara about 3-4 hours walk downhill. After lunch in Pokhara go for boating in Phewa Lake and free, stay at hotel.
Day 07: After breakfast drive to waterfall, davis fall and the drive to Chitwan National park for Jungle activities. After lunch go for village walk and bird watching and Elephant ride, stay there.
Day 08: After breakfasts go for Elephant back Safari, Elephant breeding center and after lunch, departure for Kathmandu hotel .
Day 09: After breakfasts go to visit Patan Durbar Square and then to University (Optional) and Visit Bhaktapur, then up to Nagarkot, stay overnight in Nagarkot, a beautiful Hill station.
Day 10: After breakfast in Nagarkot walk down to Banepa (Dhulikhel) as optional and drive back Kathmandu, afternoon free for shopping, evening join Nepali cultural show and dinner and stay at hotel.
Day 11: Free until departure, airport drive for Final departure.
