As a heart and soul of SouthVietnam, Ho Chi Minh City's a bustling, dynamic and industrious centre, largest city of the country, the economic capital and the cultural trendsetter. Yet within the teeming metropolis are the timeless traditions and beauty of an ancient culture. The city churns ferments, bubbles and fumes. The streets, where much of the city's life takes place, is a myriad of street markets, shops, pavement cafes, stands-on-wheels and vendors selling wares spread out on sidewalks. It's impossible not to be infected by its exhilarating vibe.
Rest of the day is free at leisure. Enjoy the welcome dinner at local restaurant.

Nearby are the Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city’s major landmarks. Neo-Romanesque in form, Notre Dame is the major seat of the Catholic religion in modern Vietnam. We continue to the War Remains Museum, where you can learn a lot about the Vietnam War.
