An outstanding circular trek of the Annapurna Massif

Annapurna Circuit Trek - 16 Days

IT IS AN OUTSTANDING CIRCULAR TREK OF THE ANNAPURNA MASSIF, CROSSING THE THORONG-LA PASS AT 5416 METERS

Annapurna circuit trek goes through Marshyangdi River valley which will bring you almost to the base of Gangapurna and into the Manang valley (the Himalayan Shangri-La). This is where you will spend two remarkable days gazing at the snow-covered peaks above you and the beauty of the landscapes around you.

We will then proceed to climb the Thorong-la pass at 5416metersand once you are on the top it has the perfect 360-degree views which is breathtaking and it will make you feel swollen with pride to be there!

Once we descend from the pass we will witness the views of Mustang which is a colorful landscape that is home to the Tibetan Buddhist and numerous friendly people.

We will then follow the deepest gorge on earth that is the Kali Gandaki Valley which is guarded by the giant peaks of Dhaulagiri at 8169 meters and the Nilgiri.

We will then use the unchanged ancient paths that were used as trade routes between Nepal and Tibet and here we will pass through the apples and wheat farming areas, interact with local Thakali people and share our moments with sheep’s and yak herders.

Trip Details & Facts

For those who want to trek for 20 days in the Annapurna Circuit Trek
• We have recently revised the itinerary between Muktinath and Ghorepani Pooh Hill for Annapurna circuit trek to avoid the dirt-road being built along the Kali Gandaki Valley.
• This section of the route now follows footpaths through appealing villages away from the road but proceeds to the traditional circuit villages for overnight lodge stays.
• The route will go to Jomsom - Dona Lake - Marpha visiting some Gompas. From Marpha it goes to the Tibetan refugee camp to Chibang Tukuche then to Larjung Titi Lake - Titi village - Taklung - Kunjo then Ghasa.
• The Annapurna circuit trek can also end in Jomsom by taking a flight to Pokhara.
• The trek can be shortened to a16 or 18 days trek.

P.S
These days the motor road reaches Jomsom although not many cars or jeeps run in these roads people still prefer to fly from Jomsom to Pokhara.
