Sri-lanka have an Ancient Buddhist sites that includes Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, Dambulla, Panduwasnuwara and Yapahuwa. All these places contain the remains of a great civilisation which grew through the centuries under the influence of Buddhism, a gentle faith still preserved in Sri Lanka in its purest form.
The Sri Lankan Standard foods are spicy and it is advised to approach curries with caution. There are many vegetables, fruits, meats and seafoods. Continental, Chinese, Indian and Japanese menus are available in Colombo and other touristic places . A speciality is basic curry, made with coconut milk, sliced onion, green chilli, aromatic spices such as cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and saffron and aromatic leaves.
Major points-of-interest include the ancient town of Anuradhapura; Batticaloa and its singing fish; the rock temple at Dambulla; the exotic port city of Galle; Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage; the sacred mountain of Adam’s Peak; Hikkaduwa beach; the cultural city of Kandy, and the wide sandy beaches on the west coast near Negomo – to name but a few. Day 01: Arrival and stay in Colombo
Upon Arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative at Airport - can arrive afternoon of 1st day.
You will then check-into the Hotel in Colombo and relax. Just rest
Day 02: Dambulla
Morning transferred to the Hotel in Dambulla with one of our well experienced chauffeur guide. On the way to Dambulla you will en-route visit Pinnawala
The Elephant Orphanage. You will arrive at the orphanage in time to witness the morning feeding and bathing of Elephants. You may choose to have lunch by the river to watch them bathing. When you reach Dambulla you will visit the Dambulla Rock Cave Temple of five caves built into the rock.
You will then check-into the Hotel in Dambulla and relax
Day 03: Dambulla and Sigiriya rock fortress
After Breakfast you will proceed to climb the Sigiriya rock fortress – A UNESCO world heritage site and is one of the greatest archaeological legacies in the cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka. This rock climbing expedition will take you 2-3 hours. You will then proceed to Habarana and enjoy an Elephant back ride. Enjoy the scenic view of a lake while you are on this ride.
You will then return to the Hotel in Dambulla, enjoy and relax.
Day 04: Dambulla/ Kandy
After breakfast you will checkout from the hotel in Dambulla and proceed to Kandy. On the way you will En-route visit the Dambulla Rock cave temple and a Spice Garden in Matale – You will see most of the spices of Sri Lanka. You will then precede to Kandy - visit the Temple of tooth relic that houses Sri Lanka's most important Buddhist relic – a tooth of the Buddha.
Later you will check-into the hotel in Kandy and spend the afternoon on Leisure. In the evening, you will be driven to witness a Cultural Show featuring various dance types of Sri Lanka. You will check in to the Hotel in Kandy.
Day 05: Kandy
After Breakfast you will proceed to Kandy for a city tour which includes; a visit to the Botanical gardens and Gem museum where you will see a variety of gemstones and a huge collection of jewelleries. The Royal Botanic Gardens Peradeniya is well known for its large variety of plant life. The great lawns highlight huge tropical trees and a variety of bamboo. You will return to the hotel at the Kandy hotel.
Day 06: Kandy / Nuwara Eliya
After your morning breakfast the chauffeur will meet you at the hotel lobby and brief you on the attractions of Nuwara Eliya. While you drive through this spectacular journey, you will enjoy the scenic views of beautiful Tea Plantations and Water Falls.
On your way, you will be taken to visit a Tea Factory where you can see how Tea is made. You can buy a selection of fresh Tea. Undoubtedly one of the best Teas you will ever taste. Later you will stop at Ramboda waterfalls and enjoy the scenic views. Before you are checked into the hotel, you will be driven to visit Hanuman Temple, one of the holy places of Ramayana.
You will then Check-in to the Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 07: Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast you will proceed to Nuwara Eliya for a city Tour. Nuwara Eliya is located amidst the scenic beauty of the misty Blue Mountains, with an average Temperature that lies between 10 C to 25 C, and just the right spot to curl up in comforts. Few places to visit could be Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, Nuwara Eliya Golf Course, Race Course, Lover’s leap Water Fall, Mackwoods Tea Factory Museum, St. Clair's fall, and Galway’s Land National Park.
You will return to the Hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 08: Nuwara Eliya / Bentota
After breakfast you will proceed to your resort in Bentota, a famous beach destination located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. Known for its stunning beaches and water sports, Bentota is a great starting point for day excursions along the West and South coasts.
While in your hotel, you can enjoy a number of water sports such as swimming, body-surfing or diving in the sea, jet-skiing, windsurfing, parasailing, and water-skiing. All the equipment you need can be hired check in to the hotel in bentota and enjoy yourself in the beautiful surroundings.
Day 09: Bentota
After breakfast you will proceed to visit Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to take a look at the practice of turtle conservation. The turtle hatcheries are open from 06:00 in the morning to 18:00 in the evening. If you wish to release a freshly hatched three-day old turtle into the ocean, try it!
It'll then be time to head on to the Madu River, a preserved wild life sanctuary, where you will enjoy a scenic and relaxing boat ride. Moon stone mines are next, where you will experience the fascinating process of filtering out the precious stones, cutting and polishing them up to get ready for sale.
The rest of the day will be spent at the famous Galle Fort, an Old Dutch Fort, and a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site, before heading back for some beach action at Bentota Beach.
Return to the Hotel in bentota.
Day 10: Bentota / Colombo - departure ( about 2 - 2.5 hours drive to airport) please keep your departure noon time only this day.

After breakfast you'll check out from your hotel and head on to Colombo, the commercial, industrial and cultural capital of Sri Lanka. It is also the economic and political hub. The city of Colombo offers historical monuments, colonial architecture, festivals and events, beaches, fine dining, shopping & night life. Many restaurants, shopping malls, banks, travel agencies, tourist information centers and hotels are located here -
Today is your final day in Sri Lanka, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. We look forward to seeing you next time you're in Sri Lanka!
The extra night in Colombo is USD 77 per person ( twin sharing rooms), if single room USD 130.
If you wish to get separate airport pick up or drope services USD 47 per person more ( can share up to 2 person in one car).
The airport pick up will be collective one.
